Out of touch with the world before awakening, all that’s on my mind is described in vivid detail by this photo ... 
Nevertheless, despite our best attempts to keep it out, sunlight persists in creeping into the room:
Ah, the ceiling fan is still there. Good! One less thing to fix.
Another glance at the clock --- well, that’s more like it!
What’s that delicious smell coming from the kitchen? Perhaps, it really IS time to get moving!

ReplyDeleteI'll be curious to hear about your choice of black and white. In my own experience I recognize out of focus and soft colors, at least if there is light in the room. On work days I get up to the warm glow of an alarm clock that also slowly brings up a light.
